For someone to use your website, it has to be stored somewhere on a system that can give users access to the website. This requires specialised hardware and software, this costs money and that’s what you pay for.

Most of the time it is, it depends on a few factors related to the hosting server. Most web servers are relatively similar to each other making the task quite simple, but occasionally I come across a server that has outdated software or a radically different configuration. I can always have a look and give you an assessment of how difficult I think it will be.

Doing SEO properly requires a lot of time and effort, and personally I find the work quite monotonous. I’d rather focus my attention on the work that I enjoy and I’m good at.

No, I work hard to ensure that I am very upfront about any costs that you will incur. If for any reason the scope of the project increases, I will alert you to any resulting price changes so that you will get the opportunity to sign off on the changes.

Maybe, you are more than welcome to give it a try, if you make any mistakes I can always revert your changes. Most of the tools that I use are quite straight forward and if you’re a bit tech savvy you should be able to make some changes without issue. With that said however, it’s quite common for people to feel a little overwhelmed when they look at the tool set. 

You will need to signup with a payment processing platform, payments will be handled by the platform that you select. I typically recommend using Stripe, their cost is low and the system is easy to use.

I’m both a designer and a developer, most modern web designers/developers actually do both jobs. So the designer’s job is to create the user interface and create the look and feel of the website, while the developer’s job is to build the code that makes the website work and handles the functionality.
